The Corduse Difference

CORD:USE was founded to create a large, ethnically diverse high quality inventory of available cord blood stem cell units for the many patients in need of a potentially life-saving transplant. CORD:USE has brought together many of the leaders in the fields of cord blood banking and transplantation in order to help build this important national resource in order to help meet the urgent need. As can be seen on the CORD:USE team page, CORD:USE benefits from the membership of many of the pioneering scientists, doctors and practitioners in the various aspects of this field.

CORD:USE utilizes state-of-the-art technologies in order to ensure our cord blood units are of the very highest quality possible for therapeutic purposes. CORD:USE employs the BioArchive® cryogenic freezer to maintain constant ambient temperature in order to preserve the highest possible viability of the stem cells. CORD:USE also employs the SEPAX® processing system to help maximize the number of stem cells harvested from each banked cord blood unit.

CORD:USE is working with leading hospitals around the country in order to draw from diverse communities which greatly enhance the overall diversity of the cord blood stem cell inventories, thus increasing the probabilities of match for anyone in need.
