NMDP has also been designated by the federal government (HRSA) as the nation’s Cord Blood Coordinating Center for the newly-formed National Cord Blood Banking Program network (CORD:USE is an NMDP member bank and its president, Dr. Guindi, is a member of the NMDP’s Cord Blood Committee).
